cloudhost docs
Everything the dashboard does is a call to the public API, so everything here also works from the CLI, MCP and your own code.
Get started
- Quick startCreate an account, install the CLI, sign in, deploy your first function and app, then connect a database, a cache and storage.
- The cloudhost.toml fileA project's settings in one file next to its code: name, type, entry, static files, variables, bindings, crons and a build command.
- The CLIInstall (signed, single file), update, sign in and every CLI command: deploys, versions, previews, environment variables, crons, logs, stats, alerts, teams, databases, caches, buckets, billing and keys.
- SDKThe official TypeScript and JavaScript library for the API: typed methods for every product, paging, typed errors with codes, retries on 429 and 503; in Node, browsers and functions.
- Git repositoriesConnect GitHub or GitLab: every push is built and deployed, branches get previews, and the status is written on the commit and the pull request.
- MCP for AI toolsConnect your AI assistant to the platform: deploys, logs, databases, caches, buckets, queues, secrets, feature flags, the firewall and billing, with your own key.
- TerraformProjects, environment variables, domains, databases, caches, buckets, alerts, team members and webhooks as code, with Terraform or OpenTofu.
Products
- FunctionsStandard web handlers, environment variables, crons, logs and the live log, observability, versions and rollback, branch previews, remote builds and git push.
- AppsStatic sites, single-page apps, apps with a function, Next.js and Astro, _headers and _redirects rules, and a preview per branch.
- Custom domainsServe an app or function at your own domain with automatic HTTPS: the DNS records, the states, redirects and branch domains.
- Checks and vulnerabilitiesThe checks a production build passes before it goes live: tests, type check, smoke request and CI checks; and the scan of dependencies for known vulnerabilities.
- BuildsRoot folder, ignored build step, command overrides and Node.js version; the build cache; concurrent builds and the queue; secret scanning, the bill of materials (SBOM), provenance and readable build errors.
- Protection and releasesProtect previews with team sign-in or a password, shareable links and a bypass token; deploy without promoting, gradual releases that stop by themselves; and keep open pages on their version.
- DatabaseA serverless SQL database: create, connect with any SQL client, branch, restore to a point in time, and env.DB in functions.
- CacheA serverless cache for any cache client and over HTTP: create, read-only tokens, running commands and env.CACHE in functions.
- StorageBuckets for any storage client: create, the team's storage key, storage clients such as rclone, and env.BUCKET in functions.
- QueuesServerless queues: send from a function or REST, consume with a function, a signed URL or pull, retries with backoff, a dead-letter queue and cron schedules.
- SecretsSecrets: projects and environments, versions and rollback, project tokens, a record of every read, rotation reminders, env.SECRETS in functions, run -- and pull in the CLI, and the REST API.
- Feature flagsFlags per project with values per environment and branch, targeting rules, sticky percentage rollouts, a kill switch and history with rollback; read with env.FLAGS or over REST.
- FirewallEach project's firewall: always-on protection against floods and malformed requests, and your own rules on address, country, path, host and headers that deny, allow, log or rate limit.
- Image resizingResize, crop and convert your app's images to WebP or AVIF at the edge: one address per app, next/image with no setup, Astro automatic, a cache per team, priced per 1,000 transformations.
- Web analyticsVisitors, page views, bounce rate, top pages, referrers, countries and devices, and page speed from real visitors (LCP, INP, CLS, FCP, TTFB); no cookies and no personal data kept.
Account
- AlertsAlert rules on the error rate, latency and requests of apps and functions, by email, SMS or webhook.
- Events and logsSigned events to your endpoint, logs sent to your own tools, and request traces.
- ActivityWho changed what and when, filtered by person, project, type and date; and your time zone, calendar and date format.
- BillingThe rial wallet, plans, top-ups, usage, invoices per Jalali month, tax details and the monthly spend budget.
- Teams and rolesPersonal and shared teams, five roles, invites, API keys, the audit log and step-up for sensitive actions.
- Access groupsLimit members to chosen projects and give roles through groups: the dashboard, the API, the CLI and MCP.
- Support and notificationsOpen support cases from the dashboard, the CLI or an AI assistant, and the notification centre: what, to whom, by which channel.
- System statusThe platform's status page: each component's status, 90-day uptime, incidents and maintenance, and updates by email, SMS, Bale, Eitaa or RSS.
